When one thinks of a Hybrid Car, the first thought is the Prius. For good reason too. Since 2004, the midsize hatchback sedan has been the hottest selling hybrid on the road, and has won numerous awards. And with much anticipation for the next -generation Prius
, that popularity won’t dim soon.
The Prius is a great car to drive. It is silent and can rev up to 110 combined gas-electric horsepower for a respectable 0-to-60 rate of 10.2 seconds. It’s fuel economy is almost 60 mpg city/highway combined with super low Ultra Low Emissions.
The Prius is roomy, it has a stability control system and keyless entry, high-tech fuel use dash display, and a rear-view camera system for parking. All items seen on high end cars. And there are rumors that the next generation could break the 70 mpg record set by the Honda Insight. Now won’t that be something!
