About Hybrid Cars
You have heard the term before hybrid, it means when you have two elements and combine them together. It works in Science and in the automotive world. The hybrid vehicle uses two different power sources to make the engine work. It could be that there is an on board rechargeable energy storage system or RESS and a fuel powered power source. You could have a human powered bicycle with a battery to assist the bike in propulsion or you could have a human powered n or sail boat with electrical power. When referring to the hybrid electric car it uses an internal combustion engine and electric motors.
Enviornmental Concerns
The reason why hybrid cars are valuable to the environment is because they cause a better fuel economy more than internal combustion engine vehicles do. There is less air pollution and the emissions are a lot less than a standard gas powered car. These days there are hybrid cars from such great car manufactures as Saturn, Toyota, Chevy, Ford and Honda. There are also hybrid buses, trucks and trains.
